your 3 page website

When you buy one of our 3 page website packages, you simply choose your domain name, and provide the content - we do everything else for you, and within 48 hours* your website will be on the internet!

Your 3 page website comes complete with a welcome/introduction page, products/services page plus a contact page.

You provide the content for the first two pages, together with photos of your business, company logo (if appropriate) and contact details, and we transform these into your very own professional business website.

What choice of colours do I have?
The navigation bar can be based on your choice of 2 colours - if you already have a logo, you could use 2 colours from this.
The page headings can be colour co-ordinated to one of the colours (your principal colour), and the second (your accent colour) could be used for email links etc.
General text on the page can either be black or you could use one of your chosen colours.
You can select the colour of your choice for the background, or just go for white.
When choosing colours, please use standard descriptive terms - e.g. light blue, dark grey, bright red. We will use your descriptions to produce the nearest match.

Can I use my Logo?
If you already have a logo, then send us a copy (by email, or through the post) and we will place it at the top left of the webpages.
If you don't have a logo then we will put your company name in words, in place of a logo.

How many photos can I have?
We will place a tall picture on the left hand side of all three pages - if you don't have a tall picture then we can take a slice out of an ordinary picture.
You can also have up to 3 pictures (typically 4cms x 3cms) on the second page.
We prefer to receive digital pictures by email, but you can send us standard pictures through the post. Where necessary we will reduce the size of any pictures which we receive - typically by scanning or optimising to fit the space available.

What page headings can I use?
Our 3 page websites usually come with the following headings:
1)   Welcome or Introduction
2)   Products or Services
3)   Contact Us
If you specifically want something different as the headings, please contact us.
The page headings will usually be colour coordinated with the Navigation Bar at the top of the page.

What do you suggest for page content?
The first page should be an introduction to your company, and the second page should give more information about what you do - usually the service you provide, or the products you sell.
Try to keep the first page to a maximum of 150 words, and the second page to no more than 200 words (we cannot accept more than 500 words per page, and this much text will detract from the final appearance of the webpage).

What company details should I provide?
Websites are all about credibility - the more information that people know about you, the happier they will be about using your services.
On the Contact Us page we provide space for proprietors name, company name, address, telephone number, mobile telephone number, fax number, and email address (we recommend that you use your new email address - e.g. myname@mycompany.co.uk).
We also will add your telephone number to the bottom of each webpage.

Do I get a chance to view the website before it is launched?
Before launching your website for the public to view, we will provide you with a link to view your website in a temporary location. At this stage you can advise us of any last minute alterations. Once we have received your confirmation that everything is correct we will launch the website so that it is available for the public to view.

How do I send information to you?
Most of your information will be collected using our online order form.
The easiest way to send additional information to us is using email. Always enter your chosen domain name & email content on the subject heading (e.g. www.mydomain.co.uk - logo file).
If you have digital pictures then these should usually be in .jpg format - other file types are acceptable, but please contact us before sending different file types.
If you are sending text content for your webpages via email, try to layout the text as you would like to see it on the webpage. You can either send it just in the email itself, or as an attachment - e.g. using Microsoft Word - other file types are acceptable, but please contact us before sending different file types.
When sending any attachments by email, please send one attachment at a time - this reduces download time, and allows you to clearly label the file and explain how you would like it to be used.

You can also send information to us through the post - please make sure that any handwritten content is clearly legible, and any photos are in good condition.
Photos and content will only be returned to you if you include a stamped addressed envelope - we will always obtain a certificate of posting when sending these items through the post.

*48 hours
Your website will usually be available for public viewing on the internet within 48 hours of us receiving your order, payment, and full information needed to create the website. There are a few standard exceptions (for example, it is not possible for us to register domain names and complete your website over a weekend or Bank Holiday period), and if there are any unexpected delays in producing your website we will always keep you informed.
